The National Association of Institutional Agribusiness (NAIA) values the importance of educating the future leaders in Agribusiness. Each year NAIA awards scholarships to qualified recipients. These individuals are recognized during the annual conference.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be a graduating senior or a graduate at the time of application. If the applicant does not graduate as scheduled, he/she must withdraw from the scholarship competition. The applicant may re-submit the following year.
- A family member who is a current member of NAIA and in good standing must sponsor the applicant.
- A member in good standing may submit more than one applicant.
- Applicants must be pursuing either part-time or full-time bachelor or graduate degree at the college or university.
- Applicant must complete the application form and provide all required attachments.
- Incomplete application packages will not be accepted.
Requirements:
Each applicant must submit the following materials:
- An original, complete application form.
- A personal résumé, 2-3 pages in length, including future goals and objectives.
- A short essay on “What impact agriculture has had on you or your family”.
- An official high school transcript.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from a non-family member.
Scholarship Details:
- First time applicants take precedence over previous awarded recipients.
- The scholarship shall be applied to the next term following receipt.
- Scholarship funds must be deposited with an accredited college or university and applied toward the student’s tuition and/or related academic expenses.
- Scholarship funds awarded may vary based on the number of applicants and funds available. Typical awards range from $500 to $1,000 per applicant.

The deadline for the scholarship application is June 6, 2025. Applications will be screened and selected by the Board of Directors. The recipient will be notified prior to the annual conference.
